KTT - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

For the USC and UAH workshop, we worked as a team to research and document KTT housing blocks in Ho Chi Minh City to generate ideas and strategies for a top-down redevelopment approach. We redesigned the Chung Cu Thanh Da Lo F without demolishing the existing structure, aiming to address current problems on the site. The residential complex consists of three main buildings connected by a central atrium. Our main goals are to introduce more shared spaces to foster a stronger sense of community, incorporate green terraces to integrate nature and support sustainability, and open up the atriums currently used as trash dumps.
